Panthers reached the finals

In today’s semifinal game Panthers defeated Havirov Devils 48:12 and fought their way to finals of CJLAF where will they face the city rival Prague Lions.

“Havirov got on the game with very limited roster, so it was only question of the time when they get out of stamina. Start of the game was slow on both sides of the ball with a lot of turnovers, but after 1st quarter we started to control the tempo of the game. In the 2nd half we dominated and even backup players went on the field to score some TD‘s“, said coach Jan Sestak.

He continued:  “Now we have to focus on the final game. We have a week to get ready for the Lions who played their last game on 31th of October. We were able to win our last match up, so I can’t see any reason why not to repeat our victory in the finals next week“.
