Panthers take silver indoors

Prague Panthers took 2nd place in this year’s Czech indoor championship, when they lost to Youngguns in the finals. 3rd place was taken by the Oldboys. Mehmetali Sulejmani was awarded the tournament MVP.

Panthers didn’t start very well and lost first two games in the group. Especially defense needed some time to warm up. Last game in the group was all about getting into the playoffs. Panthers were able to gear up and win all other games, except the final one.

The final battle between Panthers and Youngguns was also a battle between excellent Youngguns QB Mehmetali Sulejmani and Panthers RB Onrej Visek. Sulejmani was declared tournament MVP and Visek was a leading rusher with 8TD.

After embarrassing start, Panthers made it to the 2nd place and prognosis have been fulfilled that the top 3 teams in tournament would be Panthers, Oldboys and Youngguns. However, Panthers would wish for a different order...
