Young Panthers clearly defeated Brno

On Saturday 30th, young Panthers played against Brno Alligators in a last round of regular season. Although the roster was full of new players, Panthers backup smashed the Alligators 49-0

This game was primary for backup players, who didn’t play in previous games. Many new players showed on the field, some of them even at new positions.

 From the very first moment, it was obvious that Brno with only 16players on a roster is not equivalent opponent and score started to grow.

Except for the first drive, Filip Šubert played on QB spot whole game and he did very well,

throwing his first TD pass. 3TD’s were added by RB Tomáš Kočka and a premiere TD from defense was scored by a backup OLB Kuba Tománek. Game closed down by RB Ondra Kadeřábek who scored a TD after 1.5month injury break.

Now, the team has 2weeks to get ready for semifinal battle against Havířov Devils.

Panthers met Devils once this season and it was very tough game with happy end for us.

It won’t be easy, but team is excited to get to finals, where the city rival Prague Lions (which ensured the finals by winning regular season) is waiting.

We would like to invite all of our fans for semifinal game against Devils, which take place on our homefiled – Athletic stadium Slavia Prague , on Saturday 13^th from 1pm.
